Ciaran was a mentioned character in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. He was a resident of Hordern at the time of the Orc attack. He was presumably killed in the attack, though his body was never recovered.
History[]
Ciaran lived in the Southlands village of Hordern where he married Hana. He knew the local healer Bronwyn before the young woman left for the neighboring village, Tirharad. When the Orcs attacked Hordern, they decimated the village and left nothing but darkness in their wake. Bronwyn and Arondir discovered the attack, though no bodies were found in the carnage. They happened upon what little remained of Hana and Ciaran's home.[1]
