Elven-smiths at work in Celebrimbor's workshop
The Elven-smiths were master craftsmen among the Elves. The greatest of the Elven-smiths, Lord Celebrimbor, established the realm of Eregion during the Second Age. The Elven-smiths were considered to be the greatest artisans since Fëanor himself. Guided and instructed by Celebrimbor, the Elven-smiths were responsible for the creation of the Rings of Power.

During the Second Age, the greatest of the Elven-smiths was Celebrimbor.[1] The Elven-smiths were based in the realm of Eregion, and assisted Celebrimbor in the forging of the Rings of Power.[2]
