Fëanor is a mentioned character in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
He was a legendary Elven-smith from the First Age who crafted great works that furthered the Elven culture. He was a renowned craftsman and warrior. His greatest creation was the Silmarils that lit the Two Trees of Valinor. The jewels theft at the hands of Morgoth was considered infamous.

Fëanor thrived in the First Age as a skilled Elven-smith. He reached great legacy and triumph in his years as his creations were the most beautiful and powerful of any Elven-smith. His most notable creation were the Silmarils,also known as the Jewels of Fëanor, from the Two Trees of Valinor. He managed to capture the very essence of the Valinor.[1][2]
Legacy[]
Centuries later in the Second Age, Fëanor is remembered as the greatest Elven-smith who lived. His hammer, which he used to craft the Silmarils, was kept in Lord Celebrimbor's workshop. Celebrimbor told the tale of how Morgoth stared at the jewels for weeks after the theft and it nearly turned his heart until he saw his evil reflected in their beauty.[1]
