The Glanduin was a river in the Eriador region of Middle-earth that ran from the Misty Mountains before connecting with the Bruinen. It bordered the realm of Eregion.[1]
History[]
Galadriel visited the Glanduin where she learned from a scroll that Halbrand wasn't the heir to the Southlands. He joined her by the river and they argued until she realized his true identity as Sauron. He brought her into hallucinations while her body lay in the river. Elrond pulled her from the water and they shared a tender moment before she ran back to Eregion. Elrond returned to the river and found the scroll.[2]
