Description[]
Halflings were a race of small people who possessed tough leathery feet with hairy toes.[1] They didn't wear shoes because of their soles were tough, leathery, and clad with curling hair that could bear the brunt of nearly any terrain.[2] During the Second Age, at least two distinct halfling communities were known to exist; the nomadic Harfoots[3] and the Stoors who lived in Rhûn.[4]
