Valinor, also known as The Undying Lands, the Blessed Realm, Eldamar, and the Uttermost West, is the home of the High Elves, far from Middle-earth across the Sundering Seas.
Official Description[]
Where the lands of Middle-earth end, their western shores give way to the Sundering Seas. Far across their waters lie the Undying Lands – also known as Valinor, the Far West, the final home of the High Elves, where they live out their immortal lives in blissful peace alongside the Valar, the god-like Guardians of the World.
History[]

A map of Valinor
Valinor is the home of the Valar, angelic beings known as the Guardians of the World.[2] Valinor is also home to the High Elves, who dwelt under the light of the Two Trees of Valinor.[1] The two trees, known as Telperion and Laurelin, shone with a light that illuminated Valinor.[3] The trees were destroyed by Morgoth, who coveted the beauty of the Silmarils, jewels infused with the light of the Two Trees.[4]
With the light of their home destroyed, a legion of Elves left Valinor to face Morgoth. In Middle-earth, they fought a Great War which eventually saw the defeat of the Great Enemy. Centuries later, honored Elves in Middle-earth were granted leave to return to Valinor, sailing from ships that set out from the Grey Havens.[1]
